An Incredible Start to 2025!

We’ve already seen some amazing fundraising taking place this year, and
we’re blown away by the dedication and heart of our community. From
people walking a mile every day, to a brilliant charity netball game, a fun
foot golf event hosted by a local high school, and a fabulous charity ball
— every effort is making a real difference.

We’ve celebrated a special 70th birthday for Steve, cheered Andrea on in
her marathon run, and felt the love in the Easter hamper created by Faye,
one of the amazing teenagers we’re currently supporting. A high school in
Southend hosted a whole charity week, raising not just funds, but
awareness of our work supporting children and young people when a
parent has cancer.

And the fundraising train isn’t slowing down! We’ve got a runner in this
week’s London Marathon, a brave participant taking on an Ultra MMA
competition, a fun day at a local rugby club, a walker in the Spires to
Steeples challenge — and we’re gearing up for our very own 11th
birthday celebrations!

All of this goes to show — you really can do anything to raise money for
us here at the Trust. And the truth is, we can’t do US without YOU.
