A HUGE THANK YOU TO RHUDDLAN MEN’S /WOMEN’S GOLF CLUB & CAPTAINS PHIL & HILARY!

We want to send our heartfelt thanks to Phil, Captain of Rhuddlan Men’s Golf Club, who recently held his Men’s Captain’s Day & Hilary Rhuddlan’s Ladies Golf Captain to raise much-needed funds for our Trust.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have been chosen as both the Men’s and Ladies’ Captains’ Charity of the Year over the past year, and we simply cannot thank everyone at Rhuddlan Golf Club enough for their incredible support.

It means even more to us because, as a small charity, we know how easy it can be to choose one of the larger, better-known charities to support. Those organisations often have large fundraising teams, significant resources and lots of people behind them.

Here at the Trust, we are a very small team — in fact, just one person working day-to-day at the Trust — but we are proud to provide an incredibly important service within the cancer sector.

Our work focuses specifically on supporting children and young people when a parent is diagnosed with cancer, throughout their parent’s diagnosis and treatment, while living with incurable cancer, and sadly, when a parent dies.

Being a smaller charity can sometimes make fundraising and delivering as much support as we would like incredibly challenging. That’s why support from organisations like Rhuddlan Golf Club is so incredibly valuable. Every pound raised helps us continue being there for families at what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Thank you, Phill, the Men’s Captain, Hilary the Ladies’ Captain, and everyone at Rhuddlan Golf Club for believing in our work and helping us make a difference.

And the fundraising doesn’t stop there!

We’ll be back at Rhuddlan Golf Club on 27th November for our Christmas Boogie Bingo!

More details coming soon — we’d love to see you there!
