In Loving Memory of Diane – The Trust’s Biggest Cheerleader

In January, we sadly lost Diane, the beloved mum of our founder, Emma.
Diane was not only Emma’s biggest cheerleader but also a devoted
supporter of the Trust. From calling bingo to running stalls at community
events, she brought warmth, laughter, and kindness to every fundraiser
she touched.

In a touching tribute to her incredible spirit, over £3,000 was raised at
Diane’s funeral and through the generous support of our community. This
money is already making a difference—providing vital emotional and
practical support to children and young people facing a parent’s cancer
diagnosis, just like Diane’s two grandsons.

Heartbreakingly, Diane and Emma were both diagnosed with cancer
within just three days of each other last July—Emma for the second time.
Through it all, Diane’s strength never wavered. Her legacy lives on in the
lives she’s helping.

Thank you to everyone who donated in Diane’s memory. Your kindness is
bringing light to families during their darkest times.
