Little C Club Flashcards
As two mums each facing our own diagnosis of secondary breast cancer, we are passionate about creating a collection of resources to help children understand and process a loved one’s cancer diagnosis. Utilising Jens skills as a design teacher and Nic’s knowledge as a nurse we started out by designing a set of flash cards that provide an A-Z of cancer. The cards are bright colourful and interactive and are purposely formatted to be a familiar learning tool for children. They are relevant to all cancer types and can be used with children as young as 2 through, phonics, word recognition and visual prompts up to the age of 10 when children will be able to read and understand the facts and information contained in each card. The cards help to open difficult conversations, promote open and honest communication.

Never one to miss a milestone opportunity, I’ve set myself a very ambitious challenge – to raise £50,000 for The Osborne Trust in 2026. Nothing is planned yet, and I have absolutely no idea what fundraising activities I’ll be getting up to… but one thing I can guarantee is that it will be epic
