We know we are in a ‘weird’ time at the moment, we are all trying to adjust to our new normal during this crisis. Lots of us will be struggling socially & financially due to the implications of coronavirus. It’s such an uncertain time, we are doing our best to keep positive and do what we do, supporting children during a parent’s cancer.

What YOU can do with family & friends

COCKTAIL FRIDAY: Missing your weekend cocktail fix? Why not make your own cocktails and hold a virtual cocktail part with your friends? Why not dress up, put on your best make up, do your hair and enjoy. Offer a prize for the best cocktail. FANCY DRESS FRIDAY: Missing your work friends, your office banter? Why not get the team/office to hold a fancy-dress Friday from home and hold a fun conference call to each other? Donate £1 to wear fancy dress, forfeit £10 for not dressing up to www.justgiving.com/campaign/TrustTogetherFund.

GAMES NIGHT: Grab your favourite board game with the family, loser donates to the Trust. Organise an online virtual Quiz for your friends and family, winning team donates £10 to the Trust for being smarty pants via www.justgiving.com/campaign/TrustTogetherFund and have bragging rights.

What YOU can do on you own!

BE A TRUST FRIEND: Sign up to be a Trust Friend and fundraise for us using your networks, via JustGiving, Facebook, your PayPal, set up a page, tell your networks how you are a friend of the Trust and ask for their help.

HOLD AN ONLINE RAFFLE: Buy a gift voucher from us to raffle off for your friends and family via your social media pages. Set up a JustGiving page for people to enter

BAKE A CAKE: Have a talent for cake making? Why not offer up one of your cakes to raise money for the Trust via an online raffle.

EXERCISE: Turn your 1 daily form of exercise into a fundraising event. Taken up walking daily? Why not set yourself a target for next 4 weeks and get sponsored to do it. Ozzy can be sent to you to join you on your walk. Sponsor forms can be downloaded off the website and full support given to set up a just giving page. New to running or a seasoned runner? Set yourself a never before reached target and get sponsored to achieve it. Motivation for you and support for us, Ozzy can be provided for your run.

BIRTHDAY: Got a birthday coming up? Celebrate with a Facebook fundraiser, all donations come straight to us via Facebook, all you need to do is set up a page.

IN HOUSE CHALLENGE: Climb Snowdon, Ben Nevis, using your stairs and get sponsored to do it. Use an exercise bike and cycle along the welsh coast, from John o’ Groats to Lands’ End or the number of days you had treatment in miles, in our founders’ case, this would be 231 miles.

Something a bit lighter? Hold a danceathon, singalong, Solooke (singing karaoke on your own for 12 hours) or something else.

EBAY: Using the isolation to have a huge sort out of stuff? Sell your unwanted/outdated items on eBay and donate from 10-100% to The Osborne Trust. Simply add charity donation to your listings and choose The Osborne Trust.

FITNESS:  Are you an Instructor? Could you lead a Zumba, Pilates, Yoga, Step Aerobics, fitness class from home and ask people to donate to join in one of your sessions?

LOOSE CHANGE BOXES: Take one of your loose change boxes and pop your unwanted change into it, after a few weeks, count up what you have and send it over to us via PayPal, bank or a donation on our website.

HOLD A VIRTUAL BUCKET COLLECTION: Set up a JustGiving page and hold a virtual bucket collection online, ask your social media networks to chuck their coins in, every penny counts. JustGiving automatically send it over to us, you don’t need to do anything except set up a page.
