In Memory Giving
In memory giving is a way to remember those you loved and enables you to leave a legacy that supports children during a parent’s cancer treatment.
We express our deepest condolences if you have lost a loved one and hope that you find some comfort in donating to a cause that was close to their heart.
Donation in lieu of flowers or a collection at the funeral
One way families can raise money is by asking others to donate to a chosen charity instead of buying flowers for the funeral. If you wish, we can provide information leaflets to inform others of exactly who they’re donating to and what we do as a charity.
Collecting donations at a funeral can help the Trust support children during a parent’s cancer treatment, you could also hold a collection at celebration of life services and memorial events.
If you want to send the proceeds from a collection made in memory of someone by post, please make cheques payable to The Osborne Trust, PO Box 349, Rhyl, Denbighshire, LL18 9HX or you can do this online via www.jutsgiving.com/osborne-trust
Set up and ‘in memory’ donation page
A donation page in memory of a loved one is a simple way of raising funds, it also allows those who may not be able to attend the funeral to make a donation. It is a way for you to honour and remember your loved one- as well as fundraising you can share special memories, photographs and stories about them. Family, friends and colleagues can support the page by making donations, and/or taking part in fundraising events and linking these to the page, bringing everyone’s support together in one place.
